I don't even use MySpace, so I couldn't join a boycott anyways, but .... if you want to be effective then here's some unsolicited advice:

- Your email comes across as a bit crazy. We get letters and emails like this at work all the time, and they go straight to the garbage or recylce bin.
- Write in a professional manner. This emails looks lmore like flame-throwing than a concern by a thoughtful citizen
- Use full sentences, and drop the slang.
- If you want a boycott then you need to be specific about names and sites and incidents.. We don't know who your buddy Tom is. We need to know who is being homophobic, and what they said.
- Why is "music" in quotes? Calling it cRap doesn't help. Rap is a valid musical form. Homophobia by some does not negate the artistry of the rest. If you offend a whole community you are unlikely to get support.
- And, finally, are you truly asking us to believe that your account was deleted after *one* email?

I'm all for boycotting homophobic businesses, especially in these days of gay-rights backlash. But I need to know that I'm standing on solid ground before I jump on board. If you want to organize it, you need to provide me with the solid ground, with enough information for me to say, yeah that bugger is right and we need to spread the word.
