I recommend the documentary on this icon called "That Man: Peter Berlin." It turns out he's quite an interesting fellow - a pure exhibitionist.

Sun, March 11, 2007 - 8:31 AMIn 2004, "that Man: Peter Berlin" Played at the fire island film festival, He came with the director of the film. I met him at the ferry. He is a very nice guy...funny too. When I interduced myself, he said "Your here to make me happy?" I said "Not that happy"
A really nice guy, very quit and somewhat shy -

Sun, March 11, 2007 - 10:45 AMYes, that is what makes him so intriguing. He's a pure exhibitionist and really has less interest in sex with another person than bing in some mirror relationship with himslef. But he doesn't come across arrogant and narcissistic - he comes across shy and retiring and this charming German thing that turns me on. He also is aging very well, didn't you think? You think you would have made him "more happy" under different circumstances? -

Re: Peter Berlin
Sun, March 18, 2007 - 9:41 AMI'm glad this flick came out. He's definitely apart of my gay history.
( I saw his image when I was a teen. ) He lives in my hood and I
see him from time to time. ( as well as the late Scott O'Hara R.I.P. )
I always thought some sort of grand tribute was necessary.
Glad someone finally made this film! Leading up to the films
release I would see stencils on the sidewalk saying "Where is Peter Berlin?"
I thought that was pretty cool !
