somebody posted a video (from old super-8 film) of Hibiscus - founder of THE COCKETTES - performing in San Francisco in 1975 or so. This was after he'd left the San Francisco Angels of Light and was performing in NY with his partner Angel Jack and some of his own family. This show - I think it was called The Adventures of Jane Champagne, was a return to SF, and I think it wasn't received so well by the local angels an ex-cockettes who saw it as too much of a conventional drag revue.
