SMALL TOWN GAY BAR
MORE INFO
Dir: Malcolm Ingram, 2005, USA, 81 min.
If you lived in small-town Mississippi, you could risk your life meeting friends for a drink at the local gay bar. That is exactly what happens in small towns in northeastern Mississippi, as you'll witness in this insightful, courageous examination of small-town gay life. SMALL TOWN GAY BAR is an enchanting tribute to the brave, creative and passionate owners and patrons of these establishments, where just existing can be a triumph.

Outfest Seeks Dynamic Daytime Office Volunteers
Do you have a couple of free hours during the week to come help out in the Outfest office? We are seeking volunteers to come in once a week, primarily during lunchtime (11am-3pm) to assist our Office Manager. Preferred are people who can commit one day a week for an extended period of time (i.e. every Tuesday from 11-2 through July).
Responsibilities include answering phones and light clerical work, plus being a welcoming face to people who come through our doors. Instructions will be provided.
Contact us at volunteer@outfest.org or call Outfest at (213) 480-7088. Please tell us your name, you phone number and email address as well as what times you are available.
