Re: horror thread
Mon, April 10, 2006 - 6:30 PMI love..Love..LOVE this flick!
So much so I bought it on EBay a few years ago cuz
I didn't think it would be released here. The name of
the film is PERFECT because it keeps you on edge
the whole time. It's kinda like those nightmares you
may have had as a kid where the monster is chasing you
but no matter how fast you run....he's right behind you!
I know some folks had issues with the ending.
Alls I can say is if you watch it again you will see
there are plenty of signals that suggest part of the ending.
If ya don't get them....EH...so what ! It's still a fun ride!

Re: Hellbent rocks, High Tension doesn't
Sun, July 9, 2006 - 8:23 PMIf you are talking about 'Hellbent', I actully thought that it was really good. As for 'High Tension', I feel that up until the last twenty minutes, it is one of the best horrors of all time. But THAT FUCKING ENDING!!!! Not only is it bringing back the homophobic old chestnut of the psychotic lesbian, but it makes absolutly no sense. The old guy is already set up as an independent character at the start of the film, with the thing with the head. So the 'Shock' ending, not only completly undoes ALL the brillance that came before, it is also a massive insult to the inteligence of the viewer....
