Provocative, engaging, radical words and art saturate the pages of queer zines past and present. Assembled here for the first time, pages lovingly lifted, torn apart, wheat pasted from J.D.s, Anonymous Boy, Strange Fruit, Homocore, and
more. For more on QZAP see: www.qzap.org

Re: Milwaukee Queer Film Festival
Wed, September 5, 2007 - 10:46 AMI've been to 4 queer film festivals this year and i've got to say that the best films at all of them were the shorts programs. See as many shorts programs as you can cram in, especially the International Boys Shorts which are the best of the best (usually because queers in other countries aren't so transfixed on the same gay film cliches ). Not only that but while most of the features you'll see at a film festival will usually be picked up by some kind of distribution, making them available on Netflix, most of the shorts you probably will never see outside a film festival.
Have fun!
