I was skeptacle at first too...esp. cause of the location and the "scene" they were planning to concetrate the series on (i'm from SF too)...but once I started watching it, I got hooked. Be prepared tho...there are some 'oh god, did they have to go there' moments...but I won't drop any spoilers here. But I have to say I watched the first DVD, season 1, (thanks to Netflix) I really like it. I think i am hook. I mean , it still had rich/ middle class Lesbians, but atleast there are women of color being shown. I really like the way they are addressing some issures , I really like Jenifer B, damn she still looks good.
