With colorful, wildly original and heartfelt songs this impressive, boisterous and entertaining musical blasts through the coming- of-age genre. Billy, Rodel and Maribel have no intention of sticking around Colma, where there are more graveyards than front yards. Tensions - sexual and otherwise - flare among the three friends, two straight, one gay, when one begins dating a new girl and the others must compete for his attention.

Fusion 2006: The Los Angeles LGBT People of Color Film Festival, December 1-3 was a huge success – thank you everyone who participated!
Fusion is the only multicultural, gender-inclusive film festival of its kind and included three days of extraordinary films, music, spoken-word, workshops and panels.
The audience award winners for 2006 are:
Best Feature was given to CUT SLEEVE BOYS, directed by Ray Yeung
Best Narrative Short was given to THE DL CHRONICLES, EPISODE: ROBERT, directed by Quincy LeNear & Deondray Gossett.
Best Documentary Short was given to I’M STILL HERE: BECOMING LEGENDARY, directed by REACH LA

Outfest 2007 - Film/Video Call for Submissions
Outfest 2007: The 25th Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, July 12-23
Early Submission Deadline: January 26, 2007
Final Submission Deadline: March 9, 2007
Filmmakers are invited to submit completed narrative, documentary, experimental and animated films and videos (features and shorts). Outfest 2007 will feature the most extensive filmmaker awards program of any LGBTQ film festival, bestowing 15 awards for film and video excellence including the $5,000 HBO Outstanding First Narrative Feature Award. As the only LGBTQ film festival in the heart of the entertainment industry, Outfest offers comprehensive services for emerging filmmakers to forge connections in Hollywood.

Outfest Screenwriting Lab, Spring 2007
Submission Deadline: January 26, 2007
Continuing Outfest’s commitment to supporting LGBTQ-themed films from conception to exhibition, this Lab nurtures emerging screenwriters and promotes promising screenplays that significantly feature LGBTQ characters and/or themes. The authors of five screenplays are invited to participate in a dynamic three-day workshop in Los Angeles in the Spring of 2007, working closely with established mentor writers.
