I would say that Captain Jack is probably more pansexual, as i'm sure he'd get it on with aliens whose gender would fall outside of human definition. i did like how the supporting characters in Torchwood were able to explore their own sexualities, and some surprises do arise as part of this. Series two will be out soon, but frankly, I'm not waiting for it as excitedly as i waited for the first series. p.s. series=season (series is a british english convention and is slightly confusing to american audiences...) cheers. I saw series 1 via the magic of the internet. It's a spin off of Dr. Who, but it is much more adult. The main character is a bi-man. And several of the major characters have bi-tendencies/curiosity/experience. One whole episode with the Main character, Jack, falling in love with another man. A SciFi action hero that digs guys.
