Last year, HBO put out a call to over 600 queer filmmakers: send in a 5-page script with a GLBT theme and you could win $15,000 to make it into a short film.

4 winners were chosen out of the entries!

They had 6 weeks to make those movies in time to premiere at the 2007 Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, where they played to a sold-out crowd and rave reviews...

HBO is reaching out to the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community like never before. Starting this Monday, June 4th, you can watch 4 short films by, for and about queers - on HBO on demand:
