suggestion:

the article you reference, unlike others i've seen on this awful "concept," contains names of studio folks, etc. who are working on the project. it should be stooopid simple in this day in internet age to track down info on where to write to these people and express indignation/disappointment that they are even this far along in considering such a craptacular movie.

if they hear from the queer public, and queer allies, and think that it will be more of a headache that a profitable venture to produce this film, maybe they'll think twice and kill it before it even gets off the ground.

its crap like this that simply reaffirms why i *loathe* mainstream movies and almost all 'big budget' pictures.
