Just a quick note to let folks know about the Milwaukee LGBT Film/Video fest, which is starting on Thursday. I know most folks aren't in Milwaukee, but if you happen to be in Chicago, Madison, or close enough to drive up, it's going to be an amazing program.

Also, for the 4th year, QZAP, the Queer Zine Archive Project is sponsoring a film. This year it's the doc "Filthy Gorgeous - The Trannyshack Story." I haven't yet seen it, but I'm expecting it to be amazing. That's on Saturday, Sept 16th at 11pm.

I've also heard a rumor that the fest will be screening the US premier of "Shortbus" by John Cameron Mitchell at midnight on the 15th.
